Aran and Carla in Brasil
Every year, you're faced with the question of where to go for your next vacation. You browse countless websites in search of the perfect destination that offers both relaxing moments and exciting activities and sights. On top of that, you're also wondering if you have the right vacation outfits or if you should go shopping again.
This year, we're taking you on a journey to the land of carnival, samba, and the famous Copacabana. That's right, we're heading to Brazil. Let our insiders inspire you and discover some stylish outfit ideas at the same time.

Mountains of Magic

Brazil is famous for its breathtaking nature, among other things. The country is filled with majestic mountains and scenic viewpoints, offering spectacular views of valleys and the sea. A highlight is the famous "Sugarloaf" (Pão de Açúcar), whose distinctive shape is hard to miss. The mountain is colloquially called "Sugarloaf" because it resembles raw sugar. You can either take a cable car to the top and enjoy the stunning view or embark on a hike. Also in Rio de Janeiro stands the world-renowned statue of "Christ the Redeemer" (Cristo Redentor). It towers on the 700-meter-high Corcovado Mountain and, at 38 meters, is a true landmark. It's worth climbing to the summit to admire the statue up close—though be prepared for lots of other tourists, as it can get quite crowded.

Ride Rio

An adventure vacation wouldn’t be complete without thrilling activities. That's why you should definitely rent a scooter or bike and explore some of Brazil's most beautiful spots. A particularly recommended destination is the island city of Florianópolis in the south of the country. The city offers stunning beaches and numerous opportunities for water activities like diving and surfing – a true paradise for active vacationers.

Colorful Brazil

In Rio de Janeiro, there are many colorful spots you should visit. A highlight is the Escadaria Selarón, the famous colorful staircase with over 2,000 handcrafted tiles. The artist Jorge Selarón designed his masterpiece mainly in the colors red, yellow, and green – a tribute to the Brazilian flag. Additionally, Rio de Janeiro also boasts some impressive street art murals that add a vibrant touch to the streets.

Taste the Tropics

A trip to Brazil wouldn’t be complete without indulging in the country’s culinary delights. For breakfast, you should try "Açaí na tigela" – a mix of frozen açaí puree, banana, granola, and honey. If you're looking for a snack, Pão de Queijo is just what you need. These little cheese and cassava flour balls are crispy on the outside and wonderfully creamy on the inside. For dinner, you'll often find Churrasco, a traditional Brazilian barbecue, which is a must-try during your Brazil vacation. Brazilian drinks are also well-known: the Ipanema is made with ginger or lemon soda, lime, cane sugar, and mint. It’s incredibly refreshing, especially on very hot days. If you want even more variety, you should visit the "Mercado Municipal de São Paulo" – one of the best food markets in the country.

Brazilian Glamour

Brazilian fashion is characterized by bold colors and striking patterns. It is deeply influenced by the country’s culture, climate, and history. Lightweight fabrics, airy dresses, and trendy swimwear are especially popular. And let's not forget the stunning carnival costumes, which are celebrated around the world every year. The fashion reflects the diversity of nature with vibrant colors like yellow, green, blue, and red.

Brazil through the lens

Who among us doesn’t dream of the perfect vacation photo, whether alone or with a partner? Fortunately, Brazil has some exceptional photo spots to offer. In addition to its picturesque nature and beautiful beaches, there are also some lesser-known places that provide stunning shots. One of these hidden gems is the Mirante do Arvão, a unique viewpoint in the Vidigal neighborhood with an unparalleled view of the sea. There’s also a restaurant and a hotel here if you’d like to stay a little longer.
